The studio
A room in the United Kingdom, and a method that travels.
We opened in 2018 because too many analytics “bootcamps” taught tool clicks and left the politics of naming to the intern. Terminal Syncpoint is the opposite of that tour.
Mission
App analytics is not a reporting service. It is the practice of deciding which human actions inside a product deserve a name, a timestamp, and a budget. We exist to make that practice teachable without flattening it into vendor certification.
Students leave able to write an event contract, sit through a sceptical finance meeting, and say out loud what the data cannot see. That last part is not a slogan. It is a page we ask every cohort to keep.
Pedagogy
We do not lecture at a wall of charts.
Critique, not applause
Each seminar includes a short, named critique. The tutor marks the sentence, not the colour palette. Gold stars are not part of the furniture.
UK hours, recorded once
Live rooms run on United Kingdom time. A recording is issued for that week only; we do not run an infinite archive that pretends attendance is optional.
The student journey
Most people arrive mid-product: an app already in the stores, a dashboard already lying a little, a stakeholder already impatient. The first fortnight is an inventory. The middle weeks are grammar and windows. The last stretch is a readout you would actually send.
Alumni stay in a quiet letter: a monthly note, two office hours a quarter, and no obligation to perform community on a public forum. If you want noise, other schools will sell it to you.
